Using this template
Every field is editable directly on the page — click your business name, the customer's details, the line items and the totals, and type over them. Nothing is saved anywhere; the edits exist only in your browser until you print. Print (or your browser's "Print to PDF") produces a clean invoice with none of the site's own navigation or styling around it.
What a proper invoice needs
- Your business name and a way to contact you
- An invoice number — even a simple running count is enough for most sole traders
- The date, and when payment is due
- What the job was, and the price
- The total due
This is enough for most sole-trader window cleaning invoices in the UK. If you're VAT-registered, or your circumstances are more complex than a straightforward sole trader, check the specific requirements with an accountant — this template is a solid general-purpose starting point, not accountancy advice.
Doing this for every job, automatically
A template works well for the odd invoice. For a whole round, retyping the same template for every customer every visit is exactly the kind of evening admin that MyRound's invoicing replaces — the invoice goes out the moment a job's marked paid, built from the same job record as the schedule and route, with nothing retyped.
