Round management

Window cleaning round management

"Round management" usually means four separate jobs done by hand — working out who's due, planning the day, invoicing what's owed, and pricing new work correctly. MyRound treats them as one system, because they're really one job with four faces.

Why these four things aren't actually separate

A customer's frequency decides when they're scheduled. The schedule decides what's on today's route. The route decides which job gets marked done, and that decides what gets invoiced. Run these as four separate tools — a diary, a paper map, an invoicing app, a pricing guess — and every handoff between them is a place something gets forgotten or falls out of sync. Run them as one system and there's nothing to hand off, because it was never four things to begin with.

The four parts

What this looks like for a growing round

A round of ten customers is easy to hold in your head. A round of a hundred and fifty isn't, and that's usually the point where the cracks show — a customer missed a cycle, a street driven twice in one week, an invoice that never went out because the job was marked done from memory instead of from the app. None of that is a discipline problem; it's what happens when a system built for ten customers is asked to hold a hundred and fifty. The fix isn't trying harder to remember — it's a system where nothing needs remembering in the first place.

Bringing an existing round in

None of this requires starting from nothing. Customers can be imported from a spreadsheet, so an existing round — however it was tracked before — comes across without retyping every name and address by hand. If you're moving off another piece of software specifically, see switching from Cleaner Planner for the exact steps.

Do I have to use all four parts, or can I use just one?
You can use whichever parts suit how you work — but scheduling, routing and invoicing are built to hand off to each other automatically, so using them together is where the time actually gets saved.
Is this only for solo window cleaners, or does it work for a bigger round?
It's built around a single round on a single phone. A round run by one person, however large, is the use case — a multi-employee staff setup isn't part of the current beta.
What if my round doesn't fit neat four-weekly or eight-weekly cycles?
Frequency is set per customer, not fixed for the whole round, so mixed cycles and one-off jobs sit alongside each other without any workaround needed.
